The docs say I don't have to add my license key to clients, but the management portal seems to encourage it since that's the only way devices show up under clients. The concept of a host isn't mentioned in the management interface, there's nowhere for a user to log in to the software (is there?), and everything works without me even putting a license key in anywhere. I signed up for a trial, built some custom installers, and played around for a few hours and I still can't even attempt a guess at what "Each user up to 3 host devices" is supposed to mean. IE: I can only control 3 computers at the same time. Each user license allows simultaneous connections to 3 different devices hosting a session. Each user license allows connections to 3 devices that can be connected to (aka clients). Each user license allows for multiple people to use it on up to 3 host (aka session initiating) devices simultaneously. Each user can have 3 devices licensed at once with unlimited installs. Each user can install the software on 3 devices. When I go to the pricing page it says "Each user up to 3 host devices." What? That's a half sentence. Why should we make the switch from TeamViewer if it looks like you're trying to copy their business model? Why does the licensing have to be so poorly described? It feels like you're trying to maximize the number of features governed by the license so you can engage in a bunch of price discrimination like TeamViewer has been doing.
